Insurance & Billing

What insurance plans do you accept?

We are in-network with a variety of insurance providers to make your care accessible. Our most common plans include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and MassHealth. Please contact us directly for the most current and complete list, as our accepted plans can change.

What are your self-pay rates?

We offer competitive self-pay rates for patients without insurance or who wish to pay out-of-pocket. $300 for an intake and $200 for a follow up.

Why was my claim denied by my insurance?

Claim denials can happen for several reasons, such as unmet deductibles, co-insurance, lack of referral or prior authorization, or services not being covered under your specific plan. We recommend always checking with your insurance carrier before your visit to understand your benefits. Our billing team can assist you in understanding the reason for a denial, but the ultimate responsibility for payment lies with the patient.

Do you offer therapy/counseling?

No, we refer outpatient to licensed therapists who provide individual psychotherapy for a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions.

Do you prescribe controlled substances?

Our psychiatric providers may prescribe controlled substances when they are clinically indicated as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. This is always done with careful assessment and ongoing monitoring, in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Appointments & Scheduling

How do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule a new appointment, Fill out the appointment request form or call 413-200-0769. This allows us to ensure you are matched with the most appropriate provider for your needs.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments missed or canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee. This policy helps us respect the time of our providers and offer that appointment slot to another patient in need.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring:
● Your insurance card.
● A valid photo ID.
● Any current medications or a detailed medication list.
● Relevant medical or psychiatric records from previous providers (if applicable).
● Completed new patient forms, filled out on patient portal prior to appointment.

Do you offer telehealth (virtual) appointments?

Yes, we offer telehealth visits for both psychiatric services when it is clinically appropriate. Please ask our staff when scheduling if a virtual appointment is suitable for your needs.

Prescription & Pharmacy

How do I get a prescription refill?

The safest and most efficient way to request a refill is through your pharmacy. They will send us an electronic request. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing. Refill requests may require provider approval, so plan ahead to avoid running out of medication. Refills are only handled during regular business hours.

Can I get my lab work done at your office?

For your convenience, we offer labcorp orders to LabCorp. Depending on your insurance, you may also be directed to a preferred outside lab, such as Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp.
